I have created a few tarot cards for a couple collab deck’s in the past, but I’ve always wanted to create an entire deck of my own!

Justice is a Major Arcana Tarot card, numbered either VIII or XI, depending on the deck. This card is used in game playing as well as in divination.

The figure holds two objects: a scale in one hand as a symbol of balance and a sword in the other which symbolizes the preservation of that equilibrium even if by of force.

Meaning: The Justice card indicates that the fairest decision will be made. Justice is the sword that cuts through a situation, and will not be swayed by outer beauty when deciding what is fair and just.

Upright card (keywords): Balance and equilibrium, Cause and effect, Fairness, Justice, Responsibilty

Reversed card (keywords): Dishonesty, Imbalance, Lack of accountability, Legal flaws, Unfair treatment

Element: Air

Ruling planet: Venus

The third card I decided to tackle is the “Justice” card.

This piece is painted on Arches 140lb HP paper and measures 11.69”x 16.53” with a framing allowance of 3/8”. Each original piece is hand numbered with the number of the card in the deck.
